For the art lovers who like painting and drawing, we recommend the new show of Edwige Fouvry that is happening at the Dolby Chadwick Gallery, in San Francisco. The show is tittled “Ars Memoriae” and is open to the public from April 5th.

The gallery has also other collections for those who are interested in other art styles, such as photography, sculpture and printmaking. Among the sculptures, you will find also many of the Stephen De Staebler’s bronze master pieces which are cast at Artworks Foundry.

De Young Museum presents: “Matter + Spirit: The Sculpture of Stephen De Staebler”

An important exhibition is on at the De Young Museum, in San Francisco, from January 14th to April 22nd, 2012.

Titled “Matter + Spirit: The Sculpture of Stephen De Staebler”, the show brings to the audience a retrospect of Stephen De Stabler’s work along his 50 years of career. The renowned Bay Area artist, who died in 2011, devoted his sculptural practice in clay and bronze to resurrecting the human figure as the most natural vessel for humanity and spirituality.
